Family Breeding Station
Welcome to the website of our breeding station for the Japanese breed AKITA INU. Why "From the Jizera Mountains"? Because our Akitas live with us in the beautiful landscape of the Jizera Mountains, where our puppies are born and raised, and we are proud of our home.
We decided to start breeding in 2019 when we acquired our first Akita, C'ChikySilbernagl. Since then, five more members have joined our Akita family. Currently, we have three females and three males, five of whom are breeding members. Our Akitas are equal and beloved members of our human family. It is very important for us to give each of them individual attention according to their nature and temperament. We absolutely distance ourselves from large-scale breeding facilities where dogs are kept in cages, don't even know their names, and lack any love, not to mention proper upbringing and socialization.
When planning matings and litters, we place great emphasis on eliminating any undesirable traits in breeding. Health and temperament come first, as well as adhering to the recognized breed standard. Planning matings and the subsequent care of a pregnant female is almost a sacred period for us. Our puppies are born in the calm and safety of our home, where they have everything they need with their mother for a successful upbringing. At around four weeks of age, they are moved to a prepared pen, separated from the other Akitas to ensure their safety and a hygienic environment. From this point, we begin their socialization, which is crucial for their proper development and future life in their new families. Full veterinary care is, of course, provided. We offer breeding services for the new owners of our puppies, even before birth, by offering consultations about the breed and preparation for a new family member. We also offer help with training and, if needed, with dog shows and navigating the paperwork involved in exhibitions or breeding. We care deeply about ensuring that our puppies are in good hands, in the right environment, and become an integral part of their new family.
